All the songs I downloaded turned into Zip Folders! WHY?! And how to I fix it?!

I recently downloaded LimeWire 4.12 and downloaded several songs. The next day I turned on my computer and got on Limewire, all my songs suddenly turned into Zip Folders. I tried extracting the file from one, to see what it would do, and then it said file was corrupt. I was just listening to them the day before with no problem! So what went wrong? I can't even listen to them, or download any other songs without them turning into a zip folder the next day. Please, someone help me to find out what's wrong and how to fix it!! THANKS!!!

Not to sound like a "know it all" or anything, but I know it's not a virus. My fiance is a computer networking technician, and we have the best security on our computers. And I have no viruses on my computer currently. And anytime that my computer shows signs of lagging, I have him fix it. So there's got to be something else.

Ok...Try the search function on the top right and have a look at how many people are experiencing the same problem...This is a new virus and I really recommend that you go to one of those sites and post a Highjack this log..

It can't hurt and who knows you may be able to prove me wrong...:rolleyes_2:
