 Ok maybe Norton is stopping something, well I think it is when you are trying to install the VLC player.... Can you just try disabling it and then try to download the VLC player and install it... I really think this whole problem lies within the current player you are using... Oh and you have a Nat firewall in your modem, but we will get to that bit soon...
