has anyone else gotten a pop up that says warning your activities have been logged?? its has my IP adress and it says that something is being sent to [email protected]

i deleted the file right away because i didnt realize AT ALL that it was child pornography. Once i realized I deleted it RIGHT away and i uninstalled limewire. But, I've been tossing and turning thinking the feds are gunna lock me up for something I don't do, enjoy, etc.

underneath it was saying to dload google toolbar to clear the problem but I'm still freaked out. Please tell me it was SPAM.... cuz i do not want to go to prison or be fined or be labeled as a pedophiliac because I'm not...

Scan your computer for viruses/spyware/malware ect. They can generate popups.......What kind of warning would advise you to d/load google toolbar?. It doesn't sound legitimate to me.

Accidently d/loading a misnamed video on p2p isn't going to bring the FBI to your door. If that were the case there'd be a lot of people going to jail.

Check files with bitzi before d/loading, and preview them when they get to 15%. If the files not what you thought, then kill the d/load and delete it from the incomplete files in the library, and the recycle bin(depending on which version of LW your using).
