Limewire is only for downloading software!

For recording MP3s to a CD you need burning software like nero...

For some odd reason I was under the impression that limewire was similiar to Kazaa - the ability to d-load music, drag and drop into easy cd creator and then burn it to cd .

LW is written in Java .

Bad : You can't use mouse with wheel and drag&drop and cut&paste won't work either .

Good : LW runs on any system where a Java JRE is availble for .

You can Burn CD's but not directly from LW. You should first download MusicMatch (newest version) and set it as your player for LW. Then you can burn CD's at 12x!!!!!!!!!!!

In that respect, it is. But you still need a third party program to burn cds (i.e. Easy CD Creator).
