Hi, I have a general question. I read thru the fixes to get rid of the firewall issue, which I successfully did and am able to download without problems(I removed java and downloaded the offline 5.0 Java ) . Now I am getting the java updates reminder ever time I sign on. I know that if I download the java update to 6.0 , or whatever it is, that I will encounter the same issues as before. My question is, when will I be able to download new java updates. Is there a technical person at Limewire investigating this issue, or will we have to wait for the Java 7.0 update to come? You'll have to excuse me, I'm not very technical. I'm just wondering if this will be an ongoing problem from now on?

This Java issue doesn't effect everyone. Don't ask me why
![]() I had no problems with 1.6.0_01 & update 2's working fine as well. All I can suggest is that you try Java versions as they're released...if the latest Java update doesn't work then you can roll back to the older Java that works for you. Archive: Java[tm] Technology Products Download I'm not sure whether the developers are looking at this issue. |
