hi, I'm another one who got scammed by mp3musicHQ. I've just realized that $12.00 was being taken from my account each mth. It's only been a couple of months, and I've taken action to get a refund...hmm will see how that goes. But anyway, my question is, is the limewire I've installed legit?? Or should I uninstall it and start again from the official limewire site? It certainly works pretty well, though i have nothing to compare it with. Does anyone have an answer to this?

We've got no way of knowing whether the version you have is ok
My advice would be to get rid of it (just in case it's got some spy/adware thrown in) & download the free LW basic from the official site here.
