Just wanted to let you know that the new Clean LimeWire is available.

i tried d\l the clean lime wire and reached this message screen and no further:

bad command or filename
installation successful!
setting up short cut
start in error
current directory=


any suggestions would be appreciated-i have been using LW 1.7
with no problems.

Hmm... Clean LimeWire installed, but the shortcut creation died.
Which version of Windows are you using? I'll post a fix as soon as we can pinpoint and resolve the probllem.

For now, you might try double-clicking LimeWire.jar in your program folder. If jar files are associated with Javaw.exe, then Clean LimeWire should launch.

Try this one , it install Clean LW 2.1.2 .

i am using win98 se on a 1g 128m dsl computer.
i tried to open in the LW.jar file with no luck.

the screen i mentioned earlier is a black background with the
letters (scfin) on the toolbar.

You are supposed to launch RunLime.jar .
Didn't my installer work ?
