I have asked before about .mov files and have learnt they are usally bad
carrying spam and viruses
Are .avi files good or bad
If they are good what can i play them with (usaully movies)

all files can be corrupted,.avi are usually ok,try VLC player,it plays most formats,and is quite light on CPU use unlike many other players (And it's FREE )
Make sure you scan ALL files that you download,every single one!!
