Lost email.

Hi first time user to the forum but I've been using Limewire for a number of years now.

I've just updated my Limewire Pro to the latest version for it to ask for the email addy I registered with. I've had 4 email addresses that I could possibly have used due to changing jobs and what have you, and all 4 come back as though they weren't registered. It's impossible for me to have used another email address so can you let me know what other ways you can search for me please?

How long ago did you purchase LW Pro? Previously Pro support only lasted 6 months after which the email would be automatically removed from their systems. Now they have an option for 12 months.

I couldn't give you an honest answer on that. At a guess I'd say 18 months ago.

That's most likely the reason then. Nearing the end of the 6 month or 12 month period LW will normally offer a discount to continue. At least I presume they still do this. I would recommend bookmarking your personal pro download page in future so you can keep in check about this nearing the end of your period. I think it's over the last 4 weeks of your pro they warn you. Also in LW settings there is an option to show if any updates so can be know if a new version is out.

That's a scam and a half! When I bought it for whatever it was £24.99 or £34.99 it said a one off payment!
