Wont work! (won't open)

Hi Ive just downloaded limewire for the first time and i double clicked my link to open it and the box saying limewire 4.14 comes up and doesnt do anything it just freezes there. Ive tryed uninstalling and then installing limewire but it still does the same thing! Please help :S
