Won't download music

Hello,
I have been enjoying Limewire for a few years with my XP program. I just purchased a new computor...Vista pogram. I downloaded the Limewire Basic and updated the Java. Each time I choose a song to download I get a warning that I need a license. Yet, my XP computor will accept the download for the very same song. Is it true that the Vista program rejects Limewire downloads?
Help if you can. Thank you in advance.
