Ok...I live with my parents & I am moving into a house with my boyfriend (blah blah) & I have LimeWire downloaded onto my computer at my moms but how do I tranfers all my songs to my boyfriends computer without deleting all of them?? Please help cuz I don't want to lose all those songs!!! Thanks, Tess

Just copy them to some sort of removable media, like a floppy diskette, a CDR, tape, Zip diskette - whatever ya got. If you have a large number of files or if they are large, you may want to compress them with something like WinZip or StuffIt first. Both are available for free on the web. WinZip is for Windows PCs, Stuffit is for Macs. I have no clue what works for Unix/Linux. Tar probably, although if you're running Linux or Unix, you are probably savvy enough not to need my help on this question.
On the other PC just reverse the process - copy them off the removable media and put them in the Shared directory and unzip them. Also, why the mad face? |
