lost music

hello, i'm a new poster. just a question. maybe easily resolved by all of you'all that know much more about limewire than i. i am a free user. had been using an earlier version. i upgraded to the new version 4.16. after doing this it seems all the music i had downloaded over time isn't there. is there some way to save that music. it may still be on the computer. i tried to get rid of that new version and go back to the old version. but it seems now to setup the 4.16 when i do this. any answers? thanks.
