Default Lost Songs

Hello Everyone,
My limewire updated to the newer version and I have somehow lost all of my songs I had on the old version.

Could someone please let me know if I can recover them and if so how? I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
Martha

Talking Finding them Songs

The older versions of Limewire stored your files in a different location than the new version does.

Old Version > (x>Documents and Settings>(which User You Are)Administrator>Shared

New Version is the same except after Administrator>My Documents>Limewire>Saved

Another way,if this does not help, use Windows Search and search for the Folder(s) Shared,or search for music files and note the location of the ones that you have gotten from Limewire.

Default Found the songs

Hello,
Thanks so much for the help. I did find the songs when I did a search. I have saved them in my documents so I won't loose them.

How do I open or find them in the new version of Limewire? Thanks.

Martha

Wink

Double Click "My Computer"
Then Double Click On C:\ or whatever drive letter you OS is on,then Double Click each of the following

>Documents and Settings>(which User You Are,i.e: Administrator,Owner, "Martha Stewart" etc.)Administrator>My Documents>Limewire>Saved

or Open Limewire and Click Tools then Saved, then it will show you where your Dowloads are being saved....and you can change it to the same folder that you have moved your current songs to....if you wish or you can move the previous lost songs to this folder.

Regards,
KoolerBlaster

Hi martha koolerblaster is correct in that the upgraded LW have moved the pathname for the shared/saved files -- check out this link (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...downloads.html
