Corrupted installation with latest version

i Was Having No Problems With Limewire 4.16.4--got Prompted Today To A Security Upgrade Because "a Bug" Was Found By Limewire--told Me To Download Limewire 4.16.7. It Erases The Previous Version, The Download Is Corrupt Everytime You Try To Install It & You Have To Abort!!!!! Now I Have No Limewire At All & It Does The Same Thing Each Time I Try To Download It!!!! What Is Going On?????? Help!

when i started limwire today i was welcomed by a message coloured RED saying the an urgent security update was needed. i am unsure whether i should proceed with this download as it seems other people have had problems since downloading it. Is this an official Limewire update??? Unlike the other user i have not been able to get limewire 4.16 working properly even after trying to configure the firewall as suggested! I wish id never upgraded, my previous version of Limewire worked perectly! as far as im concerned this program should still be a beta version, people seem to be having a lot of problems!

curious don't you hav security installed ? mine told me it was a dangerous site close browser. the old saying " if it isnt broke leave it alone" don't fix.

Have you tried to scan your HD clean all traces and re install original LW?
