Unable to connect

I have used Limewire for the past two years on a regular basis and have not been able to connect for the past 24 hours. The status box says connecting but it never connects. I use Comcast cable modem and use Mcaffee anti virus with a firewall. Does anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks
