Direct Connect Help
How in the world do you use Direct Connect on Limewire???? Me and one of my buddies want to connect to each other and i'm not sure how to do it. I'm using a WinXP OS and he is using Vista. We both have the same ISP and i'm using a Linksys WRT350N wireless router and i think he is using a Belkin gaming router. I tried setting up a Static IP on my computer and forwarding a single port for Limewire purposes but not sure if I got it done right. My router is still set to DHCP internet connection type. Please help!

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? If yes then the firewall is an issue, either due to software firewall or your router not being correctly port forwarded.
