Programs always have Virus or threats!

Hello Everyone! I have a question!
When I download a program from Limewire (software program) it always has a Virus or Threat. I have tried about 50 different programs and all have threats. What do you do?

1. I've tried on my Windows XP and on Vista and I am the Administrator on these computers.
2. I don't know, Windows firewalls I guess. I also run AVG Anti-Virus on all my computers.
3. at least 4 on all computers.

It's your firewall or system's natural response to any program downloaded from the internet.
