Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

The new iTunes version 7.7 is not fully compatible with any version of LW.
Best to uninstall it, get an older version of iTunes. Any version before iTunes 7.7 should be fine (7.0 for example) iTunes - OldVersion.com
