I currently have the free download of Limewire. Am I allow to copy songs onto my hard drive and also copy these downloads to my MP3 player. Or, do I have to upgrade to the purchased program of Limewire to make these downloads? I want to make sure that I am using the program correctly.

Your LW downloads are automatically saved to your hard drive In LW, go tools > options > saving & you'll see the path of your saved folder.

If you go to LW's library, click on Saved Files, highlight a file & then click Explore (bottom left of the screen)... your saved folder will open for you. If you want to add downloads to your mp3 player, add them from this saved folder

So, if I download the music from the free version of Limewire, there are no issues with not paying for the song to download or any copyright issues. I want to make sure that I am not doing something illegal.

If you're downloading Copyrighted Material, weather it be with the Free Basic Version or the Paid Pro Version is Illegal either way.

I believe there are a few Countries that may not have the Strict Laws that we face, but there few and far between.
