have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling limewire?

Could suggest the same as annzee74: try uninstall and re-install again..

I have upgraded 2 the latest - but had i known, that the new program gives alot lesser downloads AND that i cant download by language; i had never upgraded.. i simply cant find any old danish groups now - i surely could in old version..

Only good bout new version: when u delete a file, it really delete it - not like old version, that kept file in spec. folder..pff lol

I wish U the best in using LimeWire - and if U ask me: use the old version.. i surely find that much better than new..

after I
reformated my laptop I couldnt get my LW PRO to work ... again no bars no conection
6 attemts to install from CD even reformated HD again
and yes i did reinstall java again too attemted the manual port forward
with diffrent number combinations ... 4 days of horror by that time I
nearly gave up


... when i rembered i had the same problem when i first got LW in 2005 .. only a few month after buying my first Laptop ( never owned or used a computer back then ) not a newbie no more

IT worked for me might work for others ( good luck )
i downloaded latest LW of the net and restarted laptop and reinstaled
LW PRO on top he he

all back in working order again
