Limewire on current PC keeps crashing due to corrupt 'active' downloads. Will new PC do the same?

Limewire on my current PC is constantly crashing, no matter how often I do an uninstall/fresh install. I think this is due to some active download files that are corrupt and/or contain viruses. I'm about to get a new PC - my question is this: when I install Limewire on the new PC, will Limewire crash on there as well due to the fact that the download file/files are still active? If anyone can tell me, please email DO NOT POST EMAIL ADDRESSES IN PUBLIC

Try the tips here: Reduce the drag caused by LW

To disable ultrapeer capabilities in new versions, tools > options > advanced > performance. While you're there, also disable TLS & DHT capabilities.
