Default Re- establishing files

Hello all, First I would like to thank you for assistance you have given me in the past..a lot of the problems I was having was low space in the hard drive ..a bigger drive and life is mosty ok now, however I have l lost a lot of music in the cyberspace somewhere, I have no idea where it went to but I am tring to get my music back by downloading.
I did do a backup at one time and have a lot of songs stored in "My Music".
Does any one know how to put any of my music files back in to LW?
Also I have songs in Windows media player that I would like to share, How can I put them into Limewire?
Thankyou again, Ben

Depends upon which version of LimeWire you are using. See How to Share Folders (click on link)

My guess is the folder in question is @ C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\My Music. So it's just a matter of directing LW's Share browser to that location & selecting My Music folder.

On the other topic, do a computer search for mp3. Since WMP is a playlist player, it will add songs to its playlist no matter where the songs are actually located on the computer. So you may in fact have several locations where other music is located at.

Personally (I use a mac), I share multiple folders from my iTunes music library. Since iTunes organises its music library into artist -> album folders, this makes it easy to pick & choose which folders to share.
