Nah I wasn't trying to be a jerk. It comes naturally. I'll also say that in 90% of these instances when all of a sudden CP is mentioned, when not mentioned in the OP, it's not even true be rather an easy excuse to play Big Brother.

Also there is a slight chance that "Victim" is trying to frame someone by turning back the system clock and thereby incriminating this someone.

We live in an evil world and get proof of it every day.

Inappropriate

Guys

I think that it is inappropriate to get involved in Megan123's custody battle, after all there are two sides to every story.

If her boyfriend/husband has been downloading illegal material there are places she can take the computer to get it examined and get the evidence she needs.

Getting involved in someone's personal battles are fraught with difficulties that only professionals should give advice on.

I am a professional, and learned long ago to make no assumptions. Everyone has hidden agenda.

Good point on the CP thing. I assure you I am not trying to play big brother. THough, you'll have to take my word for it, since I can't prove it. Anyway, I didn't mention it because it wasn't necessary. I was just looking for those files. I've been through every other route on the computer. I just figured I'd ask if LW had a file like that, just in case.
Btw.. I wouldn't know how to "turn back the clock to frame someone". I'm not that great with computers. I'm just trying to ensure my babies are safe, that's all.

It is without a doubt that Megan123 should seek professional help rather than trawl this or any other forum looking for advice

Megan123,

I suppose you could try a file recovery program, if your so inclined.

What it will find, will depend on several things. If the deleted files have been written over then recovery may be impossible.

I'll give a link to a Free program I've used that seems to work nicely. There are a lot of file recovery programs. Try Google

Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download

Good Luck
