over charged for limewire pro

ad for limewire pro said best value 3 yrs for 12.97 2 days left. thought was great deal till check my bank account and found i was charged 48.86. they are not answering my emails . what now? i am disabled and live on 720.00 amonth i can not afford 48.86. i can't refill my heart **** now. what should i do?

LimeWire company does not exist, they closed last year. The company who were advertising are scammers.

I would immediately contact your bank credit card company ASAP & explain a scam company has taken advantage of your CC card or debit account. Banks usually have a special section for CC fraud. There is a chance they may cancel the transaction, also a chance they will refund your money. But this depends on the Credit Card company or bank. Edit: If you used a credit card, it would be wise to cancel it and order a new one explaining the circumstances. Some banks suggest this be done anyway, just in case the details have been passed around from scammer to scammer.

after i emailed them my limewire pro was deactivated , bank is going to file after it posts as it is still a pending charge. finally got phone number and called . they said they canceled account and will refund money. then told me its 12.97 plus 9.95 a year , not what ad said , i went back and made copy of ad for prove. but there is a new limewire but not for free . plus found 3 trojins had been caught by sercurity system. do not recomend it.

Of course not. Find any file sharing program via google advertisements and they will no doubtably be scam sites.

Try the LimeWire Pirate Edition link I gave above. It is identical to LW Pro 5.5.

Sponsored search results will either show at very top or to the side but usually subtly different color or formatting.
