The appli Crashed and then Hangs

I Installed (--Kde-stuff=no) Qtella 0.4.2 yesterday on my debian.
It worked fine till today when it crashed.
Since that moment it looks like it cannot recover from the crash: whenever I try to connect or simply click on any button the whole stuff hangs !
