which program r u using? LW or Bearshare? I know the protocol with LW is to use a minimum of 3 characters for a search & I'd presume the same would be true for BS. Otherwise there'd be a lot of wasted search over the net & G network for searches that don't solve the query (losts of wasted search bandwidth & traffic on the Gnutella network.) Stick to a minimum of 3. Some languages like the asian languages require a smaller search criteria b/c sometimes a single character can mean a separate word or title, etc.

As LODR said, two letters would not be specific enough and would return about any file shared meaning a waste of traffic. A good way to recall the name of a song or an artist is to search on google for lyrics. Exemple, if you remember a phrase of the song, type it in google with the word lyrics:

ie "of course I would want to fly lyrics"

If you can't search 2 characters then you're not using BS right. If you had BS you could apparently.

What? I thought BS wasn't allowing 2 letters searches.... If it does, you are only searching the UP you are connected to, this is the only way to avoid traffic.
