problem solved

... I did not know about this other forum...

Solution as described in http://forums.shareaza.com/showthrea...threadid=14796
-) remove .met entry from the discovery services window - I actually could not remove the entry but change it to another type (properties/service type: GnutellaWebCache) - G2-Connections popped up immediately!
-) G1: Connections (without forced hub option) esatblished after performing the "query now" action of all the servers listed in the discovery services window.
