Shareaza 1.8.11.2: no downloads I have been using Sheraza since 2 weeks very successfully, but since some days it seems to be malfunctioned: (1) I see no hint that I am connected to Gnutella2 (Where can I check that?). (2) Gnutella1 connects only if I enforce to act as a hub. (3) Transfer rate is 0, some bytes from time to time. (4) Almost no search results. For checking reasons I tried "[a big artist]" and received just 10 hits! I use -) W2K with it's current patches -) Sygate Personal Firewall Pro; full access is granted to shareaza.exe! -) DLS internet connection An active Overnet-Session does not seem to have any influence on this behaviour. BTW: Is there any possibility to reset the configuration? Thanks in advance! Last edited by ursula; April 18th, 2004 at 04:05 AM. |

problem solved ... I did not know about this other forum... Solution as described in http://forums.shareaza.com/showthrea...threadid=14796 -) remove .met entry from the discovery services window - I actually could not remove the entry but change it to another type (properties/service type: GnutellaWebCache) - G2-Connections popped up immediately! -) G1: Connections (without forced hub option) esatblished after performing the "query now" action of all the servers listed in the discovery services window. |
