Shareaza 2.1 is finally here

The Shareaza Development Team is proud to announce that Shareaza 2.1 is finally here! After almost 4 months of solid development and countless beta tests, Shareaza has reached version 2.1 - our second release under the open source banner!

With well over 200 updates, Shareaza 2.1 hugely improves your file-sharing experience!

As usual the source code is available for all to see and absolutely NO spyware or ads are included.

Some of the most notable updates are:

• Improved support for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
• Improved EDonkey2000 and BitTorrent support.
• More Languages and skins.

And there are over 220 other updates to consider too.

Yeah, I know. But to be honest, I think Gnutella is the network the Shareaza users are least interested in. But this of course doesn't mean that problems don't have to be fixed. Shareaza currently still doesn't provide ultrapeers, which is a bad thing. The code for leaf mode should be ok. I hope these issues will be addresses for 2.2.

I was going to point that out. It's not true that Shareaza users don't care about Gnutella. I stopped using it because Gnutella performance was very, but very poor.
