i've just gotten me shareaza 2.1. usually i use limewire.

my dl speeds on limewire usually go up to about 450KB/s.
I have a very fast connection, but my download speeds with shareaza really suck.

i'm now trying to download 5 large movie files, and am getting at most 1KB/s, though there are sources of over 1000!

i've set it up a bit, connecting to all the networks, and setting the prefs. to my connection. what is going on? i heard so much about this program.

go to shareaza wiki and configure that way. its all there. but yeh sometimes you have to be patient.

and always choose to download files with 3 green ticks preferably
