 Because download brings no visibiliy to a P2P app except if you are in the top 5 downloads. Bearshare is well know and 99% who want to dl bearshare go to bearshare.com, not download.com . It can also be debated that going to a site like download.com might help your users test other p2p apps beside yours... Anyway dl per week are irrelevent, what is relevent is the total number of simultaneous users or the installed base of an app. Download numbers can be so much trafficated. Ciao
