Spyware/Adware/Malware Removal

Can anyone suggest any programs to use because I'm using Webroot Spysweeper right now and I need something else to run in conjunction with it, I suspect it's not picking up everything. Tried Spybot, the free versions only detect, they don't remove. Holla back!

I use Spybot as well and it does remove spyware, I can only guess that either something is wrong with your copy or you have a dodgy clone.

MS AntiSpyware (Beta) is also good, it detected keyloggers that Spybot and Ad-Aware missed.

I'm just so tired of dl free versions that don't correct the problem, just isolates, then I have to go through all these procedures that read like quantum physics just to get rid of it! My learning curve with computers ain't that high yet! The version of Spybot I got totally trashed me, computer locked up like it ate a block of cheese, and I got it from download.com, go figure, but it seems like Ad-Aware gets a lot of thumbs up, I guess MS found their "A" game with the AntiSpyware, 'cause God knows the firewall sucks! I'm gonna backup and try the Ad-Aware right now...if you don't hear from me in a few days, you'll know things didn't go well! Thanks all!

when i run a spyware check thing limewire comes up as "adware". i thought limewire didnt have any of that? is this true or just a false alarm or something?

If you got LimeWire from the official LimeWire website you are getting a false alarm.

If you didn't well then that is another story, and I would suggest you remove your version, and download a copy from the official LimeWire website.
