 I'd suggest these things: 1. Open your add/remove programs control panel & remove all versions of Java. 2. Downld the "Offline" version of Java only from here Java 1.5 (take the JRE) & then install it from your computer after downlding. 3. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.) 4. Ensure your firewall is properly configured & UPnP is enabled on your modem/router; instructions here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) 5. Downld the "Offline" LW version from here http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml & install.  |
