Will Not Connect!!

I'm running the most current version of Limewire on Mac OS 9.2. When I start limewire up, it won't connect at all. I've been able to connect and download things in the past, but it started today to not connect. I've restarted the computer and that hasn't helped, and I've done the same with the program. I've also uninstalled then installed it, but it still won't connect.
Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same problem today so it is not your client that are malfunctioning.

There is a problem with

router.limewire.com:6346

today which is the initial host cache that will help you find other hosts to connect to.

The solution is either to switch to another or a easier solution and this is what I did to solve it:

Shut down LimeWire

Re-launch LimeWire and then imediatelly switch to the connections tab and just wait for up to several minutes and eventually LW will make an outgoing connection and voila everything is working just fine.

But the LimeWire team should take a look at limewire.router.com because it is a bit slow at connecting today.

I am having the same problem. I reinstalled the program and still under Connections there are no hosts listed. Do I need to insert my own hosts or should they automatically appear?

We had a problem with router.limewire.com on July 16th. I'm not sure how long it's been down, so your problem could be related to this incident. Please let me know if the problem persists now that the router has been fixed.
