If I try to run the runLimeWire script that the installer leaves in my home directory, I get the same thing. However, if I "cd LimeWire" and run the script there "./runLime.sh" it starts up fine. I think either the runLimeWire script is broken, or it is left over from the install program. EIther way it should probably be deleted.

Hi,
In the file: .../LimeWire/LimeWire.lax there should be a line: lax.nl.java.option.java.stack. size.max=65536 Change it to: lax.nl.java.option.java.stack.size.max=65536 and LineWire ought to start. That fixed it for me anyhow. Cheers, Klarg |

You, sir, are a god.
That fixed the problem in one shot. Now, where were you while I tried two versions of JREs, and three versions of SDKs?
