Phex over SOCKS proxy?
Hi there!
Is it possible to use phex over a socks proxy if no direct connection to the internet is available?? lg Clemens

Hi there!
I´ve just tried it out and it really works! Thanks a lot! I think phex is the only gnutella-client running on Linux that has this feature, beside gtk-gnutella where the proxy-support is broken. Its so great, thanks a lot! lg Clemens

just FYI, trap_jaw submitted a patch for proxy support in late August '03, and Jens-Uwe Mager has implemented it in his CVS builds of LimeWire for OSX

Phex is great!
I´m sad that I must use a proxy, because I cant share my files and give something back to other gnutella users....
But it works great, thanks a lot for this cool app! lg Clemens
