Is it possible to use phex over a socks proxy if no direct connection to the internet is available?? lg Clemens |

Hi there!
I´ve just tried it out and it really works! Thanks a lot! I think phex is the only gnutella-client running on Linux that has this feature, beside gtk-gnutella where the proxy-support is broken. Its so great, thanks a lot! lg Clemens |

just FYI, trap_jaw submitted a patch for proxy support in late August '03, and Jens-Uwe Mager has implemented it in his CVS builds of LimeWire for OSX

I'm happy to hear it is working. Not many users seams to use it but Phex has SOCKS support since its first release almost 3 years ago.

I´m sad that I must use a proxy, because I cant share my files and give something back to other gnutella users....
