Convert and Burn DVD's

What software includes all the elements I'll need to download, convert and burn DVD's?

For a free demo version which has all the bells and whistles and doesn't expire http://www.dvdsanta.com is a good option it is very user friendly and does the job very well...
the demo has across the top of the screen DEMO VERSION, but if you zoom in it dissapears, you can also buy the full version for 30US dollars....

Why not get the newest versions of Nero 7 or Roxio as they now give full support to Div X, etc. & can convert almost all avi types, etc. They'll allow you to set parameters for video & audio conversion/compression, etc. Menus, bla blah

I have Nero 6 and to upgrade to 7 is about twice as much as the DVD Santa. Do you think the Nero or Roxio programs are worth the extra cost?

I've never had a close relationship with santa. Not my type actually. lol No I've never tried it so I can't comment. I've heard of people who've had issues with it in the past, but that was probably earlier versions.

I just tried DVD Santa and it worked great. Very easy and user friendly. Might not be what an experienced user would want, but for the novice (like me) it worked great. Played in my dvd player, good sound and good picture .

No. I just deleted all the files It couldn't scan. I'm into burning dvd's right now and haven't put much time into it. Maybe I'll get around to it but probably not.
