English language, American flag?

In the site you have various languages and one of them is English, yet you show the American flag. Whats all this about? Is the union Jack not a pretty enough flag for you or do you prefer to rob of us of our beautiful language without credit?

Show a little respect guys:rolleyes:

They use the american flag to represent the english language. They also use other flags to rep. other languages. I think they probably used the american flag because it is the most widely recognized world wide. No disrespect was intended;). I also think LW originated in the US but I'm not sure.

Examples here:

i must admit this thread was done party in jest, though i genuinely cant see any reason why LW cant use a half US and half UK flag (perhaps something like the attached or maybe the flag could be split diagonally?)

NB images found on a google search so i can't take any credit for it ;)

That is completely besides the point. Using that logic one could argue that because LW uses the Gnuttella source then it should have a Nullsoft logo (rather than an image of a sliced lime), but i think we both agree that would be silly. ;)

Hey LOTR's, now can we have that in Oz style "rhyming slang ",,, :D Oh, and me thinks the Oz fag would do the job nicely, the country was born from Englands better rejects, And we'll probably be the next half dozen "stars" on the american flag,,, or it sure seems that way! :(
