can't get it to work!

I recently installed the new version of xolox and every time I try to search I get the same error. It reads: 'HMODULE: 4194304 Unhandled exception EOleException Exception message: The requested resource is in use Call stack:' I am using Windows 98 and I have tried deleting the previous version through the Windows Registry editor. No luck! Can you PLEASE help?? I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to computers so please talk slowly!! Thanks.
