Hello,

I previously had Xolox v1.22 working successfully with no problems. Then I downloaded the v1.3 upgrade.

Now, when I launch Xolox, I get a error message that says "error signature'. I installed the v1.3 over the v1.22 without first un-installing it, is that a problem? I then uninstalled Xolox v1.3 (everything) and tried re-installing it. Same error message.

I have not tried to clean out the registry entries yet, perhaps that might solve my problem?

I have included the details that the error generated in the enclosed txt file.

Like I said, 1.22 worked fine!

you're not alone. It crashes under Win2K as well... back to 1.22 it is!

John, can you shed more light such as:
do you have sp1 installed?

also, try clearing out the registry key. see if that helps?

anything to isolate this bug is appreciated

Ok, i just was working with someone else that reported the problem. Seem's it's the file cnet is sending. Althought the same exact build... something is corrupt or it's not sending the complete file.

I'm using Win2K sp2. I uninstalled 1.22 and cleared the registry. Installed 1.3 from your link and it still doesn't work.

FYI:

I have WIndows XP, with SP-1 recently installed.

I will try your solution once I get home.

I have XP Pro with SP1.

Here's what I've done. None of it has worked.

Installed 1.3 over 1.22

Uninstalled everything and installed 1.3

Rebooted between every change.

Manually went into the registry and removed all entries.

Manually removed all directories and files.

Nothing seems to help. I still get that pesky error message

Here it is:

Yea this is horrid and i wish i could do more, seems to be only happening to people that have done the sp1 update in wXP or the latest one for w2k.

Anyone with w98 or wME have the issue?
