| Support: General General support discussions and announcements. XoloX has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead. |

Is there any benefit to attempting to download multiple hits on a particular search. I have many files attempting to download, but searching for a connection.

By trying to download more that one hit (set of hosts Xolox has grouped for one file), you increase you chances you will get a connection. (approximatly increases porportionally with the number of hosts) However, Xolox will not be able to combine the different file sets. So you may end up wasting alot of resources attempting to connect to download part of the file that you may already have. If one transfer seems to start going steadly, pause or cancel the other ones. Thet way you will not waste resources on your computer or other people's computers. Remeber this is Gnutella, you must be careful to be considerate to others.
