RAR archive format

I recently converted all my zip files to RAR archive format for smaller size and built in repair abilities. Since then NOBODY has been downloading off me anymore, and I have a LOT of good stuff! Does Xolox share files with the .rar extension??? Or is it that nobody knows what a .rar extension is and they are scared to download them???
