Has anyone found the reason that Xolox will cause a reboot of Windows 2k. I have tried to get the software running but within minutes of starting it, my machine will suddenly reboot. I am running Win2k sp2 with IE6 (I was using IE5.5 sp2 with the same problem). I did a complete clean reinstall of windows and the problem continues. I have the newest video drivers and directx 8a and I have tried turning down my video acceleration. Still I get reboots after running Xolox for a couple of minutes.
I have had this exact same problem with one other piece of software. I tried to use MailWasher and it will do the exact same reboot when I try to process mail bounces. So does Xolox need some service that is unavailable (I turn off all the unnecessary services like Computer Browser, Workstation, Server). I have a Athlon 1GHz, 512MB ram, GForce2 MX video, DSL connection through a router. I would like to use Xolox but right now it just will not work. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks Paladin |
