I've installed the program, but it does do nathing... just an error message when I try to search something. ¿any suggestion?

welcome to xolox. first you should know a few things. xolox has been shutdown indeed, but you can stil use it if you follow a few easy steps.

there are some cracked versions that you can d/land run or you may block its accessto the homepage, where it disables itself from downloading the many hits that you got.

i use mine for more than half a year now. and since xolox guys shutdown their app, i use a simple trick. first i run xolox & than i connect to the net (this way after a try or two it stops trying to reach its homepage &could not disable d/l's. be sure that xolox is ready to run before you connect to the net. this way it is possible to d/l as many hits as you want. one more important thing, go to tools/preferences & uncheck (automaticaly download and install newer versions) box.

you probably don't have the two files you must have to unable xolox work properly.

close xolox completely (in the systray too). than go to your xolox directory and add these two files 1) downloads , 2) temp

now you can run xolox. hope it works. repost if it works.

wow! your xolox must have got shut down earlier than mine... december to february is not six months.......

if you discovered xolox in december doesn't mean that it didn't existed before. if i'm not wrong i use xolox since september 2001.
