 not the memory, xp? thanx for the tips but the thing is, when the internet is slowed down, it doesn't appear to be a memory problem as I can run all the memory-intensive applications I like. ANd I defraged yesterday In fact I just installed memturbo just to be sure and... still slow internet (I have 512megs! anyway) Also, for the record, at work, the pc has 128megs, runs at 1.4ghz and with that machine I get nice download speeds and no internet slow down? Only difference I can think of is that maybe XP does't like Xolox? The internet slow down occurs on the xp machine not the win98 machine... Any thoughts? |
