Can someone put porn or other unwanted files on my computer? If so, can they only put it in my shared folder, or can it be elsewere? I'm on a Mac. OS X. Thanks.

The files will only end up in your LW Downld folder. For OSX may I highly recommend you add keyword filters so you don't get those spam & unwanted files in your search results in the 1st place. LW Prefs>Filters>Keyword & enter & add each individually: .wmv, .exe, .jpg And press the Apply button. These can be added/removed anytime.
As for hackers, I've never come across anything of that kind on the mac. |
