Joe Busuttil has a spectacular aura about
Default Vanished Firefox Toolbar

Good morning.

Can anyone please help me with retrieving my Firefox toolbar? It has vanished,
and I cannot get it back.
Firefox Support tells me to go to VIEW to start the retrieval procedure, but how can I when my toolbar is missing? This makes no sense to me.

When I hit the Firefox icon on my desktop, Firefox opens with what is called
"the Start Page". How to get rid of this page? Long ago I managed once, and Firefox went back to normal, but I cannot remember what I did then to get rid of this nuisance page.

Thank you beforehand for your help and your patience. I always find Gnutella Forums immensely helpful.

Sounds like you updated FireFox & the plug-ins/add-ons have been disabled.
Go to Tools menu & choose Add-ons & see if any have been disabled. In some cases you might need to get an update for these plug-ins for them to work with a new version.

I do recall a message from FireFox saying they were disabling some add-on abilities. I found this https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2017...n-firefox-esr/

As for your home-page. You might need to go to Tools menu, Options & change the default Home Page.

Upon re-reading your question, I've realised it might not be the add-ons you are referring to but instead the actual Toolbar. I've had this happen to me before too on both Mac & Windows, frustrating behaviour. I suspect the problem might be caused by an accidental keyboard-shortcut used.

The answer might be as simple as getting out of full-screen mode and checking the options.

Here's some things to try:
What happened to the File, Edit, and View menus? (Firefox support)

How to unhide titlebar, tabs, and bookmarks toolbar? (Firefox support)

where is tools drop down menu, it's not on my Firefox menu (Firefox support)

There is also an option under Firefox's View menu for Toolbars. It might depend upon which overall Firefox layout view you choose, classic or modern perplexing lol.
