Quicktime is the best player for OSX, but sometimes it doesn't play all files fully. In addition to DivX, get yourself these other two free players (mplayer and vlc) . Between the four of them, most internet video files will play. Just drag the video onto the player you want to try, or learn how to use "Get Info" to set the player you want to use automatically. Your OSX Help menu has details on the "Get Info" command.
