Default burnt CD's

I have downloaded and burnt 2 CD's which played back OK on both my Mac OS X and a B & O CDplayer.

I then dowloaded 6 more songs. I tried to burn them on to a CD and the burner kept ejecting the disc. After several tries it accepted it. It burnt the disc in a matter of a few seconds. When I tried to played it on the B & O, no sound at all.
When I put it in the computer drive it played without any problems. Any suggestions?

What speed were you using? Burning CD's should be done with patience at the minimum speed so they not only burn properly but with quality & last many years (having decent cd media is important too. The better, the more reliable & the longer it lasts.) Burning them at 52 speed or whatever is very unwise. Are you using iTunes to burn the cd's or Toast?

As the example image shows, it's best to set it to minimum speed so your burner will burn at its minimum speed in iTunes Prefs.

I don't know what B & O is.

I forgot to mention, many CD players in cars or home stereo systems will NOT play those disks burnt at too high a speed. Only about 5 yrs ago they had to be burnt at single speed or else they wouldn't play anywhere except the computer.
